The Dark Knight

We got tickets to a private screening of the Dark Knight (thanks Scott Beale/Laughing Squid). It was very cool, it was VERY dark, dark photography, dark performances, dark ambience. Heath Ledger was legendary, evil without being kitchy.

I found I was frustrated that the scenes were so dark that I could not always tell what was happening. My friend Dee suggests that it was all moving a little fast to be entirely sure what was going on.

So it broke all box office records and I hear people are going to see it again, adults, so perhaps it will attain some long term cult status.

So all in all a little too evil for my soul, but most of you will need to determine that for yourselves.
